Stone III Confirmed for WHM

I have a pile of extra macros for ease of targeting though now that I think about it. I can free up probably 6 keybinds on my scholar if I got rid of them, though I would HATE having to relearn that.

Doing single target DPS (in my crit, ss and det focussed gear, no CD beside water, no buffs, no food) I do around 360 DPS on a dummy.

I case of AOE dmg, I was very close to my raid BLM (testarea: CT2 first trash group).

I never got it managed to deal more DMG on scholar with equal gear. Always less.

The issues of DPSing as Whitemage are MP cost and you loose much more heal output than a scholar.

The cost of Stone II is just ridiculous. As you said, the issue with WHM damaging is the incredible mana drain from your filler spell.

Free Stone III proc on Stone II perhaps? Not that I wanna step into BLM territory with Firestarter but Earth elemental, but it wont make WHM broken, would it? Considering SpS affecting DoT damage will greatly affect SCH dps, I wouldn't mind bumping WHM dps to compensate.

If it's not a Dot with more than 15sc ... if it's not a instant... or if it doesn't apply any usefull buff or debuff it will be a new useless skill for WHM ... keep faith maybe it will be a good surprise =) or maybe they think we will need it to solo leveling (youhou) ...

Well if you think of it, at ilvl 130 succor should hit between 600 and 700 and crits for 900. essentially it is 1200, 1400 and 1800 heal because of the attack it nullifies.

I wouldn't say it's that simple. While rare, there are times when the shields won't get used up because of lack of raid damage. Additionally, Succor spam will always be 150 Potency per cast (besides the first one) because your shields can't stack.

Looks like Stone III indeed, maybe a ranged AoE..

Give whm some titan attacks like tumult or weoght of the land and we'll be set for 3.0 pvp lol :)

I'd rather them add some weaker holy based attacks like dia that synergize well with healing and/or cleric stance, and save my quake, tornado, and water spout for my Geomancer job with conjerer subclass I so badly want :(
