Neither of those are joke weapons. :P The pitchfork was a seasonal event item that actually had a use in Abyssea as the only polearm (With polearm weaponskills!) that could be used by anyone, making it possible for some class/job combinations to use more weaponskills than they normally had access to. This was important for reasons.

The Kraken club was the single most expensive item in the game because of how absolutely overpowered it could be. lol

The nice thing about FFXI is they could make a joke shield or club or whatever and make it equippable by all jobs, in FFXIV they'd have to make a unique weapon for each job which is a lot more work for something that's just a fun and goofy little thing.

Some of the weapons in the GS are very joke like...

Like the MNK one.

I would love a glamour frying pan for my pld. Or heck can we get weapons for ninjas that go doink when they finish an enemy. Like the tonberries.

I propose the Holey set.

Basically, weapons and/or gear with holes

Ex: Holey robes of healing
