So they stated that there will be new gear/armor for the new jobs. So for instance, can we assume that the tank/healer gear that some have been stockpiling for these new jobs will be unusable? If so, I have a boatload of gear to trade in for seals or Desynth once I reach the necessary Desynth level.

wait, can you go into this a bit more? Are we going to be forcibly ilevel synched to the lowest ilevel player, or is this an option like a Mentor system? Because personally I may not do non-party roulettes anymore if they try to synch me down to half my ilevel just to help out new players.

I would asume it is for story missions and other non capped dungeons so that people won't speedrun and harrass newbies, other than that is optional for maxium experience with newguys

New Gear is likely to be referring to primarily weapons and single class sets (i.e. AF1, AF1.5 and AF2). Tank and Healer sets are likely to still be fine.

I'm glad they staggered the Esoterics tomestones. Gives plenty of time to try out all the classes 51+.
