Hey, let's not forget that we as healers also don't like to have dead ppl in the party. Dunno about the others, but it makes me cringe and it's almost OCD-inducing to have that grayed out name in the party list with the empty HP bar making it look ugly.
You know that no matter if you release or not, healers already had that butt load of MP and time (and swiftcast as well) spent so they'll need to spend another butt load on you when they are not sure if you're waiting for an AoE to pass or afk or even do not want to get up, right? And sometimes even for a healer from another alliance.
Btw, I always raise and (if situation allows) stay target to wait for the person gets up then immediately throw a cure2+protect(+cure if needed) on him/her in case of a 2nd accidental death. If unfortunately that happens I'm often the one who apologizes.
There will also be cases where healers juge that the party will need as much dps as possible or existing dps not enough (e.g. Cloud of darkness, Odin, King Mog ex) so they'd better pull up as many dps as they could.
Anyway, if you're really going to do release it over, inform your healers AS SOON AS you die.
