Because not everyone in the world like to solo? once again the point of the forums is to give idea not to fight with each other :( i would like to party with friend but most of them are higher then me so why should they go and level up a new class when they don't want too? Watch i see it when the patch goes live people be complaining about the system and making 10+ topic about some of the issue i talked about. Then yoshi-p would take his time and fix the issue when he could be doing something else. Like what happen to about every patch. The forums are made to come up with idea and talk about it to fix issue before it come up even if yoshi-p made his mind about the system does not mean it's not late to fix / change a few thing too it.
But i guess you people can't just jump on the forums talk about issue come up with idea. All you can do is come dislike ideas come up with your own idea then get mind when people do the same thing you doing on this same topic Crying "troll,whiteknight,go back to ffxi or anything else you can come up. So you know what forget about the topic i guess there no hope too this goes P2P and people we can get some good topic and talk about it without this happening.

As i said in the other topic, if people can PL, it'll do, but don't mean you require to PL.
Level synch it's a great feature in a world where you can level only in party, but since in this world you can level solo too, allowing PL isn't a game breaker. If you find a friend willing to help, ok Pl, otherwise don't. The end.
We all remember FFXI don't? And people PL. A more restrictive claiming don't stop people PLing, let's face it -

I hope they change there mind on this claiming system, it's an absolute joke. Keep the claim system as is just allow you to claim more than one mob at a time, put a cap on it if you have to at like 5 mobs or something. This system does nothing but promote PLing, sure PLing was in FFXI but at least you had to actually kill the mob yourself not allow some R75 to go around killing everything in one hit after you touch it once.
The current system is bad enough for PL that you can just stick an R50 in the party and get them to kill everything but now they won't even need to be in the party so you can get more people in your rank range for the party bonus SP.
Just do claiming and EXP the same way as FFXI. You claim it and it's yours unless you call for help in which you forfeit rewards. EXP should be based on the highest ranked member of the party so if you have an R50 in a party of R20's killing R30 mobs for them, the SP would be based on what the R50 gets which would mean everyone get 0 most likely.
Add level sysnc then that R50 can sync down to his R20 friends and they can all play together and enjoy the game together.
Level sync was not perfect in FFXI but that was because the game was not designed for it and it came very late into the life cycle of the game. Here they have an opportunity to do it correctly and make sure content is balanced for it.
