I finally did it... disabled tells with busy status. RMT unbearably bad.

The spammers on your server must be lazy or something. On a daily basis on Leviathan, I see different names multiple times a day. I'd say about 7 different names over the course of several hours.

I'd say it's because I'm on Balmung and it's hard as heck to even get in the server to make a new spam bot.

I literally run everywhere on my home server with /busy on. The spammers aren't so bad on Legacy servers like Balmung as the sellers can only make toons there at 4 am in the morning. Whereas on Faerie, they create, then spam, delete and create a new character all day long. Blacklisting them is pointless and without filtering tells or /busy, you get a tell from them every 2 minutes or so. It's quite aggravating.

Global Blacklist.

---- First person to blacklist a spammer (specifying the reason as RMT harassment)
the spambot owner's character name is written to a high capacity global
blacklist. Global blacklist blocks spam from going to remaining subscribers.
---- The spambot owner's entire 8-character account should also be written to
global blacklist.

I can only speak for WoW on this one, but there's no limit to it and it's a quick/immediate process that requires no more than 2 clicks.

SE has lost control of gil spammers and bots on Ultros.. I have been watching the same bots for over a month now and they are still there.
I see more and more people walking around with busy on now.. I have not had a account even deleted on my black list in a month.. It is like SE gave up on our server. Some are jumping servers now just to get away to those servers still limiting accounts. Once our server became unlocked it became insane with bots and spam. There is no excuse for the amount on ultros.. It would take minutes to ban hundreds of accounts. They are messing up the economy too.

What I really want is only whisper from friendlist. Or a whisper notification without spamming the chat 5 lines.

Yep, it sure does. The thing I find annoying with it, is that I have no way of turning it OFF inside a dungeon. I'm in a dungeon, due to PS3 limitations I can't send tells in dungeons, I may want to actually see them ready checks and all.
