Crystal Tower: idle speculation on the future

I described a scenario like that in one of my earlier walls of text, but let's take a look at how you see it:

That particular scenario would, of course, require the CT quest to be completed, as the tower has technically been "awake" for the five years since its return to the surface.

Reread what you posted, and yes, they could have two different variants, but I can't imagine one that wouldn't cause issues when the questline is done in parallel with the CT storyline. Unless they put it somewhere else entirely but call it Eureka just for the hell of it, in which case, "what did Nero's scanner pick up?" is left as an unresolved question.

Putting aside discussions on how they decide to pull this off in continuity, I think if the "opportunity" Nero is pursuing is related to his declaration that he will be the one to surpass Allag, if you consider the current seal on the tower to be a "test" to see if Allag has been surpassed, it could be him opening the tower to start the Eureka storyline. There's a weird sort of one-sided rivalry he feels towards G'raha at the end of the WoD scenes that I'd like to see expanded on in some form.

What bothers me most about all this, is how Koh is possessed, and we apparently don't care. no big, its just an ancient sentience that's stolen the body of an innocent woman and is controlling it as if its their own, but hey its ok, cause they wana ask us to do stuff for em!

Seriously, how can we be expected to sit by and do nothing about this? For all we know Koh's been imprisoned inside her own body and can do nothing to free herself. There is no way we would just sit by and not so much as raise an eyebrow about someone's body being stolen.

Ahaha. This old thing. I was so angry in those days. Still angry now, but in a much more tranquil sort of way.

The slightly more relevant thread to bump would be here. We even start talking about Koh around page 7, but there's really not too much interest in discussing a story like this in the Lore section, since they did their damnedest to tie it all up with a bow at the end as something that doesn't need to be addressed again.

Well, we have confirmation on a lot more than we did before (Azys Lla is Allagan, side-story characters can become key players in the MSQ without requiring the completion of their origin story, etc.), so who knows?

Hey Fenral, now that the Garlen Battle Ship is marooned at Azys Lla, I'm betting we could combine some of it's salvage with some of the Junk in The Fractal Contenuem and make either a Key to open that door or at the verry least a Cannon big enough to blow it off the Hinges.

Well CT may be locked up, but that throne room at the top seemed pretty wide open. What would stop an airship from landing now that Zande and everyone else is gone. A Garlean controlled CT and the expanded area around Mor'dhona sounds compelling but unlikely.

Oh my god. The Manacutters. They're just prototypes, but the compleated ones are suppose to be able to make ALL aether a fuel sorce for flight. If we could get the mana cutters perfected we could just fly up there and walk right the hell in. O_O

Is there something in Azys Lla that Cid and co salvage to unlock CT again? I missed G'raha, he's still waiting there.
