Would this count as a fan?
- katana (samurai)
- rapier/dueling sword+parrying dagger (red mage)
- dual fans (dancer) (great idea BTW)
- whip (beast master)
- sword/bladed staff (mystic knight) (think Zidane's or Darth Maul's weapons)
- two-handed maces and hammers (can't really think off a fitting ff class ATM)
I know, it doesn't really make sense ^^ But the first impression of the pics in the OP just made me think of the profile of the macuahuitl, and... I guess it's just one of those "once seen, can't be unseen" things XD Plus the macuahuitl generally referred to among the people I know as 'spanking paddle', due to mayan/incan (whichever it is, I forget) words being tricky, doesn't really help either ^^;
(Though... on that side, it doesn't quite make sense where -- lore-wise -- how and why the macuahuitls entered the gladiator/paladin tradition. Which Eorzean culture do they come from? Howcome they're included as GLD/PLD weapons? Why would someone decide to throw away their good steel sword for a wooden board with stone edges? If you ask me, I think some paladin at some point took the 'tank and spank' notion way too literally...)
Some kind of string type weapon would be cool like this.

Tonfa, bo staff and straight-sword (jian) would be pretty cool. FF loves its aesthetics after all :)
Don't ask me what (traditional) FF jobs they'd go with, ha. The latter 2 may be the only things that will ever sway me from MNK though.
Fans, like others have said. Would love it for dancer if it didn't someday come off Rogue.
Bladed Scarves...or just a normal scarf/sash I suppose.
Meteor Hammers and Needle Darts/Whip Darts (whatever you want to call them) were always pretty cool to me too.
-Bo Staff
-Whips
-Paint (FF6~)
-Voice
-Dance?
-Scythe
