I liked the way vampire was presented as a sort of blue mage in Bravely Default, would be cool to see an interpretation of that in Eorzea. Alas, seems we'll never see blue mage the way we all really want to see it implemented.

Let the vampires be a group of Duskwight, who still lives in the subterranean ruins of Gelmorra.
No whips please.
A vampire class could be possible. But given model ideas rather than just a reskin, and background could be difficult to implement. (No wings)
Haukke Manor would be a nice setting for a vampire. Additionally, I think Lady Haukke was the closest to a vampire so far. Didn't she steal the life force of young women?
Why not take the Vampire class from Bravely Default? Its basicly a Blue Mage, only it has a Vampire theme.
Being bitten by a vampire isn't the only way there's books and such and that new Dracula movie that shows that just taking in the blood of a vampire can turn you. There's also different types of vampires in different cultures and succubie can be considered a type since they need living energy to survive.
Or the vampire class from tactics S. Maybe the one in BD is more likely as it is more developed. Still we likely won't get a new class soon. Vampires as enemies on the other hand could occur as early as 3.0
Although I don't want Dracula movies to deviate from the book, it is true that vampirism could come from different sources. For instance if vampires are classified as races they simply have sex. And both Trinity Blood and Hellsing has artificial vampires.
In fact, it is still a question wether simply sucking out the blood creates vampires at all. I think most sources agree that being drained simply turns you into a ghoul and being fed vampire blood is what changes you.
I wonder how far we'll go untill a dev post comes.
