World of Darkness gear? (opinions)

The new set, IMO, is much better looking than the set we think is the WOD set (with all the pointy witch hats). I hope that new set drops from the new dungeons.

My personal opinion is that the tank gear (- the helmet) is the best, followed by the Dragoon set. I like the style.

Not really a fan of any of the other designs, or rather, lack of design.

But that's okay, will probably just get w/e my retainers need.

I wish the ninja gear looked actually ninja like. It's embarrassing how bad it looks.

Guess i'm glamouring my Ninja/Koga Kyahan onto the Calligae from the Ninja Armor.

Really getting tired of Calligae-style footwear being slapped on ninja all the time as an excuse for below-the-knee foot gear.

I love the bard and tank set, but I'm not interested in the others.

I agree, for having us on the cover of their game and their advertising things we sure get spit on a lot. As a lifer BLM this is getting really annoying. Actually it has been annoying since I got the game and started leveling a year ago.

The worse part is that the healer/caster gear has pretty much just been recolors of each other even. Like, 1 unique design set covering 4 classes. It's disappointing.

Its because BLM and SMN use the same main stat and defensive traits. All melees have different traits, which is why they get different gear, namely NIN being different in it using DEX instead of STR and DRG having higher Phy Def on their gear than MNK and NIN (used to have lower Mag Def too but that got changed).

They usually dont make two sets if the classes can use the same set, its rather being economic than wanting to disatvantage mages.
