I'm sorry but who said this stuff is not content??!! I said it once and I'll say it again, this kind of stuff is more fun ANYDAY than crafting... yes, crafting get you Gil and items, but why can't this as well?!

Do you know why I hated any FF after 11?? NONE had side or mini games... 12 had the hunt, which was FIGHTING mobs, same with 13... where is the extra stuff? seriously, what do you think made the old FFs great?? not only me but many of my friends spend hours upon hours on tetra master, blitz (was the ball game in 10) and chocobo raising....

The excuse of MAIN content first is moot guys, face it... What's stopping them from adding such thing? we need more dungeons? more mobs? sure, but who said we don't need extra stuff like this?

Again, all I'm saying is maybe SE needs more threads like this to relise that we need this stuff and we don't want to just FIGHT mobs...

Triple Triad would keep most people happy for a pretty long time. Casino area can wait for an expansion.

Also, if they ever do implement a giant casino/minigame area like golden saucer, it should be located in the Garlean Empire rather than in Eorzea. A flashy, higher tech area like that just doesn't seem all that at home in our frontier continent.

Yup tottaly behind this idea, chocobo racing, card game torunaments, monster Arena witb bets could really improve in the fun departement of the game

You know in FFXI how whatever city was number 1 in the conquest had a travelling faire/entertainment thing. It wasn't up to much but imagine one FFXIV style, i think that would be pretty cool. 10x bigger with a ton of stuff to do.

I always like this idea but i would put 'games' among the 3 cities and not in only one. So every city would have something fun to offer and it would become more populated.

It'd be wrong to say no to an idea like this!! But if they do add a casino-ish place in one city, or all of them, I just pray the music is tolerable..the golden saucer music made me want to shoot myself after awhile >.<

*also for chocobo racing, I vote XI style where you just watch your chocobo race, as player vs player chocobo racing could have issues. Like whoever has the best internet connection would win etc. Having AI control them would keep the race fair

This IS more content. It's new challenges/fun for players that we currently don't have. Lets be honest, the Firefarie event got old fast. The Dungeons got old fast.

The idea of a PvE vs PvE arena appeals to most players.

And lets be honest. Who doesn't have a little bit of gil to sink for fun.
