Actually SE has been known to present lore from within the world that is flat out wrong based on your character experiencing the truth through missions.

See CoP. Most of what is taught through lore is proved wrong when you discover the real purpose of the five races being created. Along with the song and its verses. And the crystal guardians.

It indeed was a great game. Though I think it would have done better as a whole if they had unified the game across all platforms and just made it so you picked at the beginning if you wanted to play young or old Nier.

I believe what they thought to be twin moons orbiting their planet is infact one moon which has trapped a meteor in its own gravitational pull and this meteor is now orbiting the planets satalite. I believe they are planning to change the maps for Thanalan, black shroud and la noscea? What better way to do this than explain this change with a catostophic impact from meteor :)

Just imagine it getting nearer and nearer to the planet the closer we get to the patch that will change the maps. With the final few days before the patch goes live, meteor would be very large in the sky at night and during the day. It would be awsome.

If the entire meteor did hit the planet it obviously woiuld destroy everything but I believe it will break up in the planets atmopsphere with 3 large chunks of the metor hitting thanalan, black shroud and la noscea causing and explaining the changes we will be getting to these maps!

Quite clearly Ifrit is riding on that Meteor. Aren't all of his attacks in previous games meteor type attacks? And we all know he's coming at some point.

Thats no moon its a battle station!!!! Haha I saw this on the ferry to Limsa except the smaller body was white. I commented to my linkshell and about the fireworks display at night in the instanced Limsa dock area waiting for ferry. If you havent seen it check it out its kinda neat.
