It's bad enough on the Marketboard seeing people undercut, I can't see why the bracelets will be any different. If someone wants to sell but there are no buyers, prices will have to drop until a buyer is found. Not only that, but as mentioned, RMTs will have no problem in competing for a better £/€/$ : Gil ratio because it's their job. Sure, SE could just lower the price, but why bother? People are going to buy it anyway to either sell on or for personal use.

On top of that, buying the gil over the bracelet leaves you still with the freedom to spend the gil on what you wish should there be any left over. Don't get me wrong though, I am not implying that everyone is buying from RMTs in order to purchase these via gil, but encouraging large sums of gil to be circulated around the economy....there's no way all of that gill will be legitimate. It's not even just the bracelet either, the new dyes are being sold too.

I don't see the point in adding it with Parenthesis considering that otherwise, everyone wins and RMT loses. People have a way to sell Cash Shop items, economy doesn't get flooded with false money and the "danger" of having people be forced to buy from RMTs(that's rich right there) to afford them is pretty crappy considering that if enough people are buying, that would increase more demand, which would also introduce price cutting so people can get money faster etc, etc till it's virtually worthless.

I'll have people know that I bought two Platinum bracelets today for 4mil each. So, the person who paid real life money paid a considerably higher amount of real life currency: gil compared to what RMTs offer. It's cheaper to buy the gil and then trade for the in-game items.

Also from the spam I get, the gil to $$$ exchange rate is waaaaay higher than what the eternal bond stuff trade rate is. Only thing you get in return is the safety that you won't get banned.
