Ok, I've been using this for a while and I notice a huge improvement on my FPS. Specially in Mor Dhona. Now, can you marry me or something?
This setting changes nvd3dum.dll!QueryOglResource from being the highest cpu using function to d3d9.dll!?LHBatchWorkerThread@CBatchFilterI@@KGKPAX@Z being the highest cpu using function, And in doing so, often uses a full percentage less cpu in the same circumstance.
The amount of threads remains the same at a count of 37.
I'm not sure what those two functions are, or how you determined that, but "a full percentage less cpu in the same circumstance" sounds like a positive result. To my inexperienced eye, it would seem like Nvidia has some work to do with nvd3dum.dll and how it interacts with Final Fantasy XIV.
Thanks for the feedback! I believe I've seen you around the Geforce forums quite a bit, although I rarely post over there.
OP adjusted for clarity. As always, feedback is appreciated! :)
