So he was just trolling like you. I get it. Thanks for the explanation.

I'm still on Final Fantasy XI. I would quit FFXIV in a heartbeat if they started charging because it isn't the game I wanted. I wanted a Final Fantasy esque MMORPG, not a poorly drawn out Korean MMO that mimics WoW.
I take it you didn't warrant a proper response.
Two months ago I would have canceled my subscription without hesitation if they had begun payments. Now, I would be a little hesitant and questioning. Partly because I feel there is so much promise, especially with the new guy's plans (I -still- haven't memorized his name... I'm a little ashamed of myself) for it. After they have changed the battle system and a few other things (along with additions etc) I'll probably be more than willing to pay. BUT, this is stated under the assumption that the changes will be ones that I like. They could always make a system that's messed up in my eyes, but I'm being optimistic here. I was optimistic for a full year after its announcement at E3 2009 and all throughout the beta testing. Release day came for the CE and I was sorely disappointed and kept my hope strong. It was further strengthened by management and development team changes. I'm not gone for good yet (and wouldn't be even if they began the paying cycles now, I would return to try it out after about 4-6 months).
No i wouldn't pay right now but I would keep my eye on the updates to see what changes they make and add. If I like it then I would come back and pay.
