Coil 5 changes needed

Tbh if people aren't learning what to do then they don't deserve to clear it. There isn't even that much to learn. Every time I dfed this people messed up conflags. Litterally everytime. It would be useless to nerf T5 into the dirt completely since then they'll have t6 in df soon, which , if treated like t5 with ppl queueing hoping for ez carry, will be 10 times more impossible.

Really just get a pf together. Even make it a 3 strikes ur out pf so people treat it seriously. Been failing shiva all week until I made a 3 strikes pf, it works.

This is why Coil should not have been put in the DF in the first place.

If something is in the DF, the average player believes for some reason that joining without any awareness whatsoever should be enough to get a kill.

t5 contains some very basic mechanics that you need to be able to handle in order to have any hope of beating t6-9 (and 10-13, but that's a given).
It's a wake-up call boss. Sure it's comparatively more difficult and a lot of the mechanics don't have a lot of logic to them, but that's true for a lot of coil mechanics.

Uh what's the point of going through DF if you just make those people suicide lol. Other than, "just to fill slots". It is not helping the OP figure things out. the trouble is not really that T5 have complicate mechanic, it's the lenght of the fight and more bad, the difficulty curve in comparaison of the rest of BC before this fight.
and there i'm sorry the difficulty curve of T5 is simply ridiculous when you look at what you have before, we pass from at some boss that are hardly difficult, it ask to be reactive and follow simple pattern at worst the boss have 2 phase (cad)... and T5 ? 5 phase tons of mechanic that simply insta kill you! even in i300 gear with an echo +100% you will simply die! and that where the game fail miserably.

instead to have a progression curve balanced we do have a skyrockt difficulty in comparaison of what we do have before. for all the one saying after is harder, indeed it must be harder, what the point if not. the trouble it's what you have before! redo this old content, and admit that in comparaison of T5 it's a joke!T5 need to loose a lot of the One Shoot mechanic, only this will make the fight more accessible.

One shoot mechanic like enrage have them place, but seriously, make a boss that can simply one shoot your 80% of the time is not fun... where is the thrill to survive it attack to survive to the challenge... god explain me why this idiot don't simply chain her one shoot mechanic for kill us!

accessible...to what end though? To ram head 1st into the T6 wall? Echo + ilvl 110-120 gear + learn mechanics = lol through t5.

T5 has two one-shot mechanics: the attack after the snakes, and the walls. The walls are a silly hazard for dramatic purposes and to prevent people from doing...something...with divebombs.
Everything else is survivable.
And t5 is a huge shift from t1-4, but it's NOT a huge shift from EX primals and t6-13. If anything from what you're saying, rather than making t5 easier, they should make t1-4 harder.

T4 was hard back in the day as well, it was a hard DPS check for people with ilvl80 gear. T5 marks the point where gear is not the only defining factor, because personal skill and awareness also come into play. This is why you are finding that the "learning curve" is so steep. Guess what? T5 requires the player to start using A LITTLE of brain. Apparently this is completely unreasonable for many people...I am sorry, deal with it. Adapt or die.

Betting 1 TRILLION GIL that OP clearly hasn't seen twister phase yet and realize how more people (as in OP suggested 2 groups which means 16 people inside) is a more of a PITA with twister.
