Shouldn't we be comparing TwSn to the poison stances and DK to Slashing debuff?

DRG has been tried and proven to do..what? I don't think you finished that thought. DRGs gain from their own piercing debuff and they have similar potencies, BRD has nothing to do with this conversation. Foe's is a magic resistance decrease, pretty sure it works the same way. What are you saying here?
MNK potency should be calculated at max damage steroids (42%) compared to NIN (20%), then calculate how much their debuffs count. NIN applying their own debuff is a potency loss for them too. Having a WAR put it up, or a mnk having another mnk to do it, are optimal but not guaranteed things. As such, shouldn't be taken for granted.
TS is a FLAT 10% damage. It holds all the things over a resistance debuff. Flat damage > resistance down. Flat damage IS universal, comparing a flat damage to a resistance debuff is not how it works.
My main point is that it's not 12%, its 22%.
Not sure, NIN can't apply DoTs without breaking combo like MNK, anyway those resistance debuffs didn't affect DoTs
Why don't you just YouTube monk and ninja dps???
Monks max at around 500-520 dps sustained at 110
There's right now the only ninja parse on YouTube is a 109 capping at 410... and that is with a war keeping a constant slashing debuff on the dummy.
why compare both? they are totally different, the combo mixed to the ninjutsu, is not the same than combo+positional fight...
theorycrafting is nice and all, but it's better to play what you like.
Keep calm? I wasn't mad, if you look at what I was replying to I was just explaining that the attack speed buff for ninja is the same as monk's so the there's not really a difference the GCD as the previous poster claimed...nothing more. I have no opinion on the current state of ninjas as of yet.
I'm having a bit of a hard time seeing monks being relative to ninjas from the parsers and personal (albeit limited) experience. If someone can clear it up for me it'd be great, because as of right now I don't see a reason to play monk over ninja, let alone bringing one along if they're capable of outputting more in a raid environment considering;
>They're not restrained by a build up time (GL3) or pressed to maintain it, especially on some encounters. Most detrimental to a ninja is messing up a mudras rotation, but I don't see that being as big as losing GL3 as a monk.
>What they offer to the table. Off the top of my head monk only has a 20% mantra and INT reduction. Ninja has 5% mantra (assuming they cross class it) and a 10% damage taken debuff. Both are capable of off-GCD stun.
And the whole "difficulty" thing is relative...especially when you put more and more time into playing a class, their rotations/positional become second nature.
