Dark Knight Mount Speculation

Really hoping for a black panther for the dark knight mount. Same size as the white lion. Think it would fit with the other mounts for tanks and fit a dark knight .

Skeleton warhorse. ;3

My first thought would be some sort of Black Direwolf, like Shaggy dog.

I'm hoping for a giant black Boar.

After talking to a friend about one of the suggestions here, I'm really leaning towards a dog. Or rather, a hound. I mean... Hound out of Hell and all.

They both use the Coeurl model and we already have a Coeurl mount, so probably not.

Well, we have eight ponies with just a color swap. Two Coeurls don't seem that dramatic x)

DRK should use Diabolos, or a Dira as a mount.

Well let's think this one through. Tank specific mounts and PvP armor sets (the newer ones, i100 & 110) resemble animals. Each job has a PvP set, the set corresponds the the job's "animal" counter part.

So it's definitely going to be an animal, based on inductive reasoning.

Knights have a generic connotation with horses (I mean, look at the Chess piece!), which would mean dark knight job => dark horse mount? As unoriginal as it is, I'm banking on it. What if it's a flying mount to cope with the new expansion? I'm putting my money on a shadowy horse with wings. Given that this is a Final Fantasy game, I have no doubts that will be awesome.

Cliche? Perhaps, but it makes the most sense, and I'm sure it will have a unique Japanese Yoshi-P flair.
