Time to pick apart the new logo

Going out on a limb here, but maybe they are gonna replace the class system with "Onion Knight" job, and do away with classes altogether. Onion knight is typically the thing you choose when you want to be sort of mediocre at everything, which is kind of what the class system is when you think about it. It lets you cross class a lot of skills but you're not as good as a regular job. Classes were supposed to be the thing you do when you want to solo and maybe you need some extra skills, so onion knight could be the go-to job for soloing as a jack-of-all-trades, master of none, sort of deal.


On another note, I want to concur with the person who said that ishgard looks like the mother crystal. I think the way they've depicted the city here is probably intended to invoke that image. What the city of ishgard has to do with the mothercrystal ? Who knows.

Is no one not seeing that race... bottom right character. Look at those ears maaaaan:) Looks like a rabbit.

the 2 silhouettes beneath the dragons breath, they look like there in samurai armor. Those shoulder pads, overlap. and the head piece.

I do kind of get the feeling that Yugiri's race actually is a Viangaa, in that it is some sort of reptillian with rabbit like ears. Of course it probably won't be called Viangaa, but I'm thinking that's what it's actually going to be in principle. If Viangaa was really just an april fool's joke from 3 years ago, I doubt that they would bring it up again at fan fest.

Those things on Yugiri's head don't look like bunny ears to me. They are probably horns.

As for the logo: you could see a Viera into that logo. Then again, it could just as easily be some ornamental stuff on the helm.

As depicted in the logo, Heavensward is about 8 dads playing in the snow and then a dragon shows up and ruins their day. They team up to fight their mutual enemy, nega-dad.
