You need to face a building or something similar and swing the camera around to face you. You'll force the camera to move in WAY closer that way. :)

Like this (I used the cave walls out by Urth's Gift) but without the darkness, bat, and head-choppy-off :o

Regarding headshots:
They are to be used to make a banner image. I need you to be facing head on straight to the camera. No heads/hair chopped off top of image. Preferably daylight. You can /smile /grin or whatever if you so chose.
