No word on new drivers yet, and no estimate for now (unless Squall can correct me). We'll be sure to bump this thread with an announcement when some new drivers arrive, along with any feedback as to whether they actually fix the problem or not!
Nvidia hasn't committed to any particular timeframes.
im hope new driver coming fast and fix it because very bad...
They have to do a lot of testing to make sure any possible fix for this graphical issue in FFXIV doesn't negatively affect other games.
Just bought a GTX 970 today, glad (?) to see I'm not the only one with this fog issue.

Just got my 980s today. Saw the same issue, glad Nvidia is aware and a possible fix incoming.
fix is long for coming...
