Yeah sorry, I'll be honest and say I read the "Title" of the contest and vote. I'm on and off a lot so I don't read everything lol. [Which is why I'm not on as often anymore, forum wise as well.]
I dunno then. Should I revote then? I also admit I voted Yunie because of the NPC, her, and the background. s: It just all worked together.
Kaelah doesn't even have the best of backgrounds, I just voted on what I liked overall lol.

Edit - I looked back and my votes are still the same without taking the backgrounds into consideration. xD

Ok ima be very honest about this, the idea of the picture is to actually interact with the NPCs by seeming the gang leader hence the gimp looking gear- which is btw what the NPC was wearing except it didn't have the sleeves. The glasses and hair style took me a whiiiiiiiiile to decide for and the b/g it was supposed to support my character's clothes color aka implying I was most dominant + giving the atmosphere this mysterious feeling. One more important thing was that i didn't take the shot from any other angle or on clear weather because of the terribad-low-quality-pixel-like objects surrounding the NPC, so its either i take an even more ranged shot or just cover it up, which didn't look good at all.

sorry but i truly thought about every l.i.t.t.l.e thing, it seems like the voters care only about the overall view not the difficulty of the shot, and well it's kind of expected. c;

Pretty much in alphabetical order:

Ciara - Yda is one of my favorite characters in the game. :D Though, I must say, your pants are.. ahem.. really tight.
Jayzan - Do what you want cuz a pirate is free, you are a pirate!
Kaelah - Yes, you may help me! (I have a missing person's request to file.. if you find him, you can just take him home with you if you want, his name is Arias :P)
Kin - I've been meaning to do this for my Miqo'te alt, and Kin is just so cute in everything!
Maxwell - Because DISCO.
Ronberku - My, what a big.. uh.. SWORD you have.
S.Q. - The choice of attire matches perfectly. I love it!
Tinsley - The soldier is all "DAMMIT TINSLEY THAT'S NOT REGULATION!"

To be honest, they're all good, though. It was tough to narrow my choices down. Jayzan looked like he was having tons of fun, Kurri and Yunie are absolutely adorable, Maxwell looks like he's about to DISCO, S.Q. did great with matching her NPC choice, and both Vahn and Yuni had great ideas with those NPCs in Ul'dah (Yuni, I would like to see more of your outfit, uh, come to my library later.. :P).
