Petition: make Allied Seals a reward for PVP too

You do realize that Soldiery is awarded in Frontlines, right? It's already the hottest in game currency because your Allied Seals are useless (when it comes to upgrading to i110) without it. Someone with a million Allied Seals still won't have access to the i110 gear unless they have the Soldiery for it, which gets capped every week. Currently, getting Allied Seals (the hottest in game currency according to you) requires the epic skill set of being able to teleport and load into the zone faster than the other guys. I don't understand your argument.

This was, if I am not mistaken, one of the reasoning behind echo buffing Coil? Leaving it as difficult content at that state would make most not want to try the content for fear of failing it but after releases of subsequent coils and more options for gear and a little help from echo, players could try content they missed out on. I agree very much to this and with future PvP patches that things would become more accessible.

Tombstones of Soldiery and Mythology have always had precedence of being a "gameplay-wide reward" regardless of what you do.

I do, but do you realize that Soldiery is capped at 450 and allied seals has nothing to do with the Frontline? Most of PvE players are capped with 450 Soldiery already because they have to do that daily alexandrite map quest. No one play the Frontline because they want to farm Solidery really. Soldiery also does not provide you access to ilvl110 gear. You can not use this as an argument.

You have the issue of farming allied seals, but what does that have anything to do with PvP community? None. It is not our business to provide you allied seals to begin with, epsecially this suggestion does not provide any benefit to PvP at all. I am against this idea and OP awared of that from other thread.

By the way, Frontline is about internal conflict of interest between three GCs....... what is the logic of provide allied seals as reward?

I guess I'll have to explain. In Frontlines, you can only group with people in your own Grand Company. Each Grand Company has a different look regarding there allied seals. While Allied Seals aren't related to PVP, a person's choice on what Grand Company they choose will more often be determined by the look of the gear style they want. That is the reason why adder PVP queue times are so low, because Maelstrom and Flame gear are more desirable in the long run. Since SE goes out of it's way to lock un into one GC at a time, people are often going to stay with the GC they get the best glamour with.

That is how it's tied to PVP.

Yea so, your argument is flawed here. If all the people that will flood and "poison" your PVP experience will just afk for a win by bandwagoing to maelstrom. Then doesn't that mean they'll lose more matches since all the good PVP players will be on Adders and Flames. Therefore these bandwagoners will go to Flames or Adders and rinse and repeat. Therefore making your prediction invalid since it will be a never ending cycle.

Also your concerns would actually help ALL GC's with there queue times. Also, how does players getting allied seals play a part in Frontlines? Since there is a ilevel sync in place. Please explain.

I know that. If these are already available from almost anything, what is the big deal about adding Allied Seals to Frontlines? That was the point I was trying to make. So your argument went from 'everyone will have i110 gear and break everything' to 'there's no place in the lore for it'...ok. PVPers are already getting PVE benefits from PVP...Soldiery and Myth. You're ok with that, but there's a problem with Allied Seals? They are not the sacred coins of Christ that you are making them out to be. They require little to no real effort to get...just time, a good processor and SSD lol. I would completely agree with you if Allied Seals only dropped from T9 or something. You're basically saying that acquiring Allied Seals should remain as monotonous as possible for no good reason. As far as lore, I'm sure they could have an intern draft something up to throw a bone at you people that care about immersion. A lot of people were saying the same thing about lore when Frontlines was introduced.

I am saying. Allied seals is the currency designed for the Hunt, one of the primary content in FF14 patch 2.3, it should not be available outside of that content. The frustruation of Hunters to obtain this allied seals for PvE has nothing to do with PvP. The goal to increase the PvP community size, not provide an alternative easier access to the current hottest in-game token. PvP does not require ilvl110 gear to be able to function. PvP gear is not optional as morale is not functioning, you need myth gear to play. Reward players with Myth and Soldiery (secondary currency) so they can gear other job to be play in the Frontline is reasonable.

I agree acquiring allied seals is monotonous but it has nothing to do with PvP. Why PvP community open our arms toward something we knew that is going to be creating problems?

After you knew that PvE players would choose GC based on the the gear design, you are still telling me that these PvE players wont choose Malestrom over other two GCs? A vast amount of more Malestorm players wont make queue time worst for Malestorm players? The Hunters already developed a mob mindset and they will create further problems such as: leeching or stupid complain about GC afflication when they choose to horde to over populated GC. Should SE break the Frontline mechanics just to keep this mob happy? A mob that will disppear asap when allied seals can not get them ilvl 120 gear?

What heck is this? What is this petition for? What is the goal of OP to make this thread? I thought it is pretty clearly that OP is trying to draw PvE players to play PvP. What is your purpose of thorwing this personal attack here?
