But seriously, I've been asking for a clear revision (division?) of DoM into logical roles:
One that has cures/buffs/status removal (like White Mage)
One that gets a stiffy putting high level mobs on that toaster setting that exists for some god unknown reason that always makes your toast into charcoal and no sane person would ever use (like Black Mage)
One that focuses on debuffs, party enhancement spells and DoTs (like Red Mage)
One that casts Bacon Storm, which is a lot like Air Tam Storm except with bacon instead of materia (like Bacon Mage)
One that fast forwards the game to its finished state where all the kinks are worked out, there's a functional party/search feature, the solo guy can get some SP fighting more than a few high SP-giving mob families, the landscapes/maps aren't designed using repetitive RPG Maker tiles, et cetera (like Time Mage)

As much as I want to see 1.19 on the horizon it would really be helpful if SE fixed the current broken area's of the game.

I hate to be a healer too
always played as a nuker in every MMOs
all I can do now is playing as THM instead of CON
cuz THM can not AoE heal anymore, people will know that I'm not a (main) healer
the next problem is... they don't want THM to join the raid PT

honestly i think they should not make classes into these roles, they should make jobs into the roles, classes should have focused on certain lore and playstyles, and each able to do at least two types of roles on its own. Its closer to where they started, but now they are moving into classes are roles, and jobs are roles, what the point then?
they should make you specialize into a healer or whm based on which skills you use, by using jobs with traits abilities to back this up. then you could have an elemental DD a white magic healer, a sacrificing blood healer and a dark blood magic DD,
It would have made a lot more sense to implement it that way, but now they are making classes and jobs and roles redundant, the worst part is they havent figured out what 4 out 7 jobs is for.
