Yay no reason to log on for raids anymore.

You do raids for the raid gear you need that'll never drop for you.
It's about time it was possible to get Sands and Oils from somewhere other than coil.
Thinking about this more, I would guess that this is the reason they're not putting Oil and Sands in CT2 just yet. If they withhold it (for the time being) from CT2, it will get more people doing the monster hunts.
Except that High Allagan gear will still be better than any of the options I listed...including the Allagan Tomestone Weapons. The game is giving us options, that's never a bad thing. I imagine it will be more of a grind, which, if that fits your playstyle, more power to you. Regardless, you can still get the best equipment from BC, or you have it already. No reason to complain.

Assuming these screenshots hold true, and depending on what that Elite Mark is ranked as, I would assume B as I would hope a bear is not rank S, that would mean that:
Elite Mark Rank S = 15,000 Gil/60 Allied Marks
Elite Mark Rank A = 10,000 Gil/40 Allied Marks
Elite Mark Rank B = 5,000 Gil/20 Allied Marks
Regular Daily Mark = 1,000 Gil/1 Allied Mark
The difference between Regular and Rank B is 5x Gil/20x Allied Marks.
Rank A 10x/40x
Rank S 15x/60x
This is obviously speculation, but I would ballpark gear/weapons to be in the 50s~ for notes maybe? 27 Allied Notes/week MINIMUM with Rank B Elites. That's 2 weeks for 1 piece? Later on you get 1 piece/week when you unlock higher marks? Idk, maybe?
