on full right side with level1-10 accessories, i still hit harder than a full i90 blm. most of the PF requirements are at around the 80-90 level so i think that's good enough for me
i think people are really just looking for something to attack people for on this one, if its just a handful of accessories then its hardly going to make or break the encounter.
stop being bitter than someone has found a way to make gil and that you are too inept to do it yourself
Greetings,
While an item level requirement has been set up in order to participate in high level content, the gear used is up to the players. As such, we do not have any plans to implement limitations to the system that prevent equipment to be worn for spiritbonding.
In the event we were to specifically decide the stats and item level per equipment slot for dungeons, it would take away the freedom of what you can wear since it will be limited to only specific pieces.
Equipment choice is an important element for content strategy, and while there are aspects that rely on the responsibility of players themselves, we’d like you to communicate with each other to make decisions based on the situation.
Umm... Not saying if it's hindering the party it shouldn't be stopped. But I constantly heal 5 minute myth runs on my alt sch while wearing full SB accessories.
And myself, a blm friend, and a tank friend consistently run 5-6 min (depending on the 2nd dps) myth runs wearing SB accessories. (also for what it's worth nothing above ilvl 100 on the left side)
So watch the blanket statements about ilvl 50 (or 29 since those are good for 1/2 materia for novus) hindering dungeons.
I personally like Southern Thal (the hildibrand zombie fate specifically) you can sit in 1 spot and get that fate every 5-10 mins for some nice SBing while not having to constantly run around. But considering I have to do 1000000 brayflox myth runs anyway... Seems a good way to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
To dev's
There is no use for crafting gear inside I dungeon I constantly run into tanks wearing a complete right side of crafting accessories(cp/gp+). This does nothing but slow down and harm a run. You aren't even allowed to craft inside a dungeon so putting restrictions on crafting gear would not impede the players ability to gear as needed.
first. no you don't your missing over 60 main stat and 110~ off stats; if the blm is wearing all acc/det gear then maybe you outdamage it but not an i90 blm that knows there rotation.
Secondly to the person before You if you are by some miracle doing full runs in under 6min(seeing as an i70 tank will die before a healer can swiftcast cure on the first pull I don't see how this is even possible) You are in a preformed party with people you know. Not going into df dungeons randomly. You are also someone who knows the dungeon well enough that there skill can make you appear as a higher ilvl then you are, 90% of spiritbonders who use DF are not this. They barely know or just choose not to, their rotations. and really heavily on the party to pick up their slack. You also most likely have i100/i110 weapons many spiritbonders I run into only have a relic or they wear spiritbonding weapons.
3) Easy to spot lies are easy to spot.
BTW, that ilvl check is only done when you queue. You're free to change to whatever even before entering the dungeon as long as you hit the initial "join" while hitting the requirement. And people used to think that switching to under average i48 after queueing for high roulette would guarantee WP or AK, even that doesn't work. Debunked it myself on my 3rd try.
He said the devs weren't going to get specific on saying which which gear is right or wrong to be wearing in a dungeon. He said it's up to the group to discuss and decide that.
But if the group decides that certain gear is needed for a situation (say ... not wearing crafting accessories) and an individual does not want to go along with that ... it sounds like he's saying it's up to the group to decide how they want to proceed ... aka vote kick the uncooperative player.
