Down with PVP Replace with Blitzball!!!

I like the pvp.

I don't want something stupid like blitzball.

The 4 vs 4 PVP is definitely feeling very old at this point in ARR. I'm really surprised that they couldn't at least come up with some varied maps they could add the arena even if they aren't going to change anything fundamentally about it at this point.

At least Frontlines looks to be huge. Excited for that!

The real trouble with PvP here is in the nature of our relationship with Narrative Causality.

We're *ALL* bloody heroes here. Except in, say, contrived comic book fights, Heroes don't fight other Heroes :)

PvP feels abnormal when there aren't defined factions, at least to me.

It just feels incredibly like a waste of time and resources to work on pvp content that could be used for other things like more mounts, gear, better FATE systems, etc.

If you had posted this a few days ago I'd probably agree. But with what they said and showed of Frontlines...I'm going to say no thanks. Though I'd be open to having Blitzball as some other pvp option. :P

Me i have nothing against some PVP in a game.
The only PVP part in a game i hate is the PK turn on and killing who ever they see that ain't ready or don't want to fight (PVE player) or Low level player.
But the walk to someone and right click ask for duel can be ok but aggressing if someone don't want to understand "NO" and keep spamming "ask Duel"
But arena i did some but not soooo much attracted cos you do the same thing.
And with frontlive it's look so cool. Remind me of Rappelz dungeon PVP : A guild possess a dungeon (having dungeon give you taxe return (laks for in game) and each week another guild can try to Win it. and bigger the dungeon more people you can enter XD we had one dungeon were we were so many in it ..more then 24 like frontline was around 50 if i remember correctly been many years i didnt play XD and while go deep in dungeon there Node spot you unlock (to appear if you die) the first time to posses the other side Win :) was pretty fun

If you want blitzball ask for blitzball. Don't be the kid that tries to smash other kids toys though because they aren't what he likes. There is no reason to get rid of pvp just because you don't like it. I haven't hit pvp in this game at all but from what I've seen there is a % that enjoys it.
