normalizing pvp so pve players have a chance to cap pvp currency, get gear just for glamour and never Set another foot in a frontline ever again... instead of letting pvpers work hard for their gear with stats that helps them daily since they do pvp EVERYDAY. awesome logic SE..

I think this is something they wanted to get more people interested in pvp so attract them into frontline eventually they'd get rank up etc then go back wolf den? I mean, we're basically still get same reward but bonus is soldiery tomes as well according to them.

So while watching that frontline, we can pretty sure its' going be capture flag and trying get highest point to win or wait until 30min over to see who highest point to win the match. Apparently there will be monster in battleground as well. July 8th we'll see more info about this as it go live I guess heh.

Enjoy Wolves' Den while you can, because nobody is going to set foot in there ever again after 2.3. Guess I can save my materia money too.

It would be nice if gear sync was simply an option, and there was another queue with greater rewards and functional PVP gear.

It's clear that Yoshida has given up on PvP in this game. There's no purpose in arena with no leaderboard and large-scale PvP that discards the principal PvP stat. Any of the PvE equivalents of Warwolf, Direwolf or the i100 PvP sets will be better because they have 4 functional stats per piece while we only have 3.

Q5: What kind of rewards can we obtain in Frontline?

A5: Essentially the rewards are the same as the Wolves’ Den, but you’ll also be able to obtain war mounts and Allagan tomestones of soldiery.

if frontline rewards are the same as wolves den then surely morale should count?

One would think. But as others have said, Frontlines has become the CT of PvP - an intermediary step to help bridge the gap between beginners and the endgame content. Unfortunately, that implies that the Wolves' Den is now the end-all-be-all PvP for this game.
