Novus Weapon Glow, New Design?

i like the anima glow :3 , if u want the anima weapon w/o glow go buy the atma weapon and remodel it :P

I'm just wondering, I thought the novus weapons would be getting a totally new look? By the design of the curtana, it looks like our work for novus is nothing but another, bigger glow. If this applies for all novus weapons, I would be extremely disappointed.

I currently have the gae bolg animus and look forward to the novus quest, I wont mind the glow even if they do it a few more times, whatd I would like to see is new sounds, a stronger weapon should have a stronger sound. I want to hear thunder when bursting on bosses with a supposed epic legendary weapon, I dont possess a moogle weapon but I beleive they have the moogle sound when you attack. I just think itd be nice if the 4th or 5th form of the weapon sounded much stronger than the first.

i want a weapon that ENHANCE my skills somehow or boost my character other than more stats and DMG :rolleyes:

The next upgrade will leave ghost trails of your weapon as you swing it.

There are subtle differences between the atma/animus vs relic/zenith. It's my belief that with each upgrade the weapon will undergo continuous subtle changes (other than the glow, which mainly signifies the "peak" of each phase change), eventually to a point where it doesn't resemble the original relic at all. This would, of course, be many years down the line.

1: We don't know how many upgrades there's going to be.
2: why would they make a new model for relic with each patch, when they add a new upgrade?
3: it would make ppl angry that they spend so much time on making new look for relic, instead of actual content.
4: you dont forge a new wep, you infuse your relic with the spirit of slain, powerful enemies, so why would your weapon transform into another shape, for that?
There's not a lot of ways to make a wep look more powerful, except glow, unless you remodel it. And it would probably be something stupid like Sahagin mount (lets give drake mount a longer jaw, and add flippers=new mount)
5: The quest-line states that the Zodiac braves wielded weapons that shone like a thousand suns (because they infused their weps, with the spirits of slain, powerful enemies)...so lore...
