The static I was in slowly fell apart... People just not logging in, leaving etc. Some of the people in my static I had been playing with for a while so it kind of sucked when they didn't log in again and when we all went our different ways. When that collapsed, I kinda jumped around pugs, thought I found a static then something came up which was kind of the last straw for me. I got to see up to T8, which is enough for me. It kind of sucked about my static since we had grown pretty close and I enjoyed raiding with them. I just didn't have that same feeling when I went with pugs and stuff, which is a shame. I've kinda abandoned my original main though, got seriously caught up in leveling SCH on a different server, considering transferring my SMN main over to that server and saying goodbye to the old one. Start brand new. Currently gearing up my SCH, with plans to just casually run Coil. Guess I'm just burned out.

First static I had was with my first FC. We got to T5 pretty quickly and then they just disbanded. A lot of people got tired of the game, went to ESO, our warrior was drama queen, etc.
2nd static I entered with one of the static members from my first static, it was a poor mistake on my behalf getting mixed up with that group. Bad people >_<
Now I'm in a new static with a group of people and a leader that I've been friends with for 11 years and so far that been a lot more of a joy

I'm in a static with my FC. First and only static I've ever been in. We formed in January or February, I don't really remember. Most of us are still there, and we're a pretty tight group. 6 of us were solid from the start - all but the tanks. So we lost one tank because he got a new job and couldn't commit to the raid schedule (he hasn't even logged into the game since). We found a new tank in the FC. Things were starting to look good, but then our other original tank left (financial reason - had to unsub). We got another person from the FC to join us (he was a member of a different static outside the FC, but it fell apart at just the right time for us). Then our other tank, the one to replace the first tank, decided to change servers. He was gone. Tired of all the tank problems, our FC leader and static Bard decided to change to Paladin to fill the empty tank spot. So we got another bard. Sure enough, that bard wasn't a good fit with our team (great guy, still part of our FC, but he had gotten farther than we have and wanted a group that was already running 2nd Coil). So now we have a new bard who is awesome and I think we're going to be together for a long time. At least long enough to finally kill Twintania.

Still have the same static that's been stuck on Twin for 2-3 months. Leader goes on about getting practice which never seems to help. Half of it beat Twin when the other half wasn't on, and that half is getting frustrated and wanting to move on to coil 2 already. Most of it is on during the weekends, which I'm never on. Coil night is looking like less of an exception to that rule.
At this point, have either been considering a switch in free company, or just blame MMOs and go back to single player games.
