Since most ppl play female chars, it would just randomly attack. and you wouldn't really need a tank. Like with that LNC, in Halatalii HM, or Demonwall.

I never knew Ultros had so many fans. ^^;

Ultros is a squid.
Octomammoth is a Octopus.

The only Kraken I can think of would be Kraken, the Fiend of Water from FF1 and FF9.

Octommaoth I think could make a interesting boss for a dungeon. Ultros deserve to have his own quest maybe a Hildagarde one and a fight, mabe eventually fighting him and Typhon.

If it's not Ultros, he will surely come sooner or later.

Bah you are right (although in FF12 and FF Tactic Advance 2 he was a Flan), Still my point stand, he not a Kraken. :p

I thought it was Kraken at first too, but at the same time, I'd rather see Kraken alongside Lich, Marilith, and Tiamat rather than as a standalone boss. He's FFI's Elemental Archfiend of Water, for crying out loud! That'd be like having the final boss of a dungeon be Cagnazzo, but with Scarmiglione, Barbariccia, and Rubicante nowhere to be found.

When I saw the screens of Hull breaker this song popped into my head.

It needs to be Ultros! Come on! Ultros Boogie! ~dances and waits~
