I really had hoped for at least a few new classes/jobs by now, but my guess is it's already been decided, if not stated outright, that they will only come with paid for expansions.

I would like to see more in-game interactions with the lodestone. Like be able to see (if possible, to edit/create) Free Company forum's threads. Having in-game notifications about these threads.
Also, an option in the Character window in the game to set your current appearance and equipment as the one showed in the Lodestone and lock it, so future equipment changes doesn't sync with our Lodestone profile, so we can share our best glamours.
im under the impression that until 3.0 drops every new main story patch like through the maelstrom will tease a new class or job to give them a sort of backstory of how these new fighting styles are coming to eorzea and being taught. personally id like to see a magic based tank class/job like a dark knight or mystic warrior
I like the ideas you brought up. Particularly the one about raising FC funds for housing. Though I would suggest a revision on what you originally stated. Say for instance it would be provided as a buff for the FC to implement, but instead of it being a tax or something deducted from players actual gil it would probably be better if the buff did something more along the lines of for example : In a dungeon you earn 90 gil from killing this one monster, 5% of that is calculated and generated as extra/bonus and deposited into FC bank. The player keeps the 90 gil and the 5% bonus generated benefits the FC at the same time for them running the dungeon/killing monsters, etc
For the market place, why don't we show the vendor price next to the prices on the market? It would be an easy fix and would allow people to see that they are driving prices below vendor prices. That would stop a bunch of people from selling items for next to nothing.
