So because it isn't helpful to 1% of the playerbase it's not helpful at all.
Good to know.
It doesn't sound like the multiplayer applies to the roulette bonus, but the role bonus you get afterwards, the extra cash and experience.
I said it before a while ago, SE is going to have to pay better if they expect me to queue as a tank more than once. If you want shorter queue waits, you need to pay to encourage us to run our roulette, and keep running roulettes. The shortage is because tanks roll their roulette once, then don't rerun because the "reward" isn't very good compared to doing something else for tomestones.
Hmm, I think I thought about role bonuses wrong, as others have said, they do probably only mean the bonus XP & gil rewards. Still... this will effect tanks far more than other classes, so yay for free gil I suppose.
The point is to pull more tanks back into roulette queues, but paving the road with easy tomestones would have been a horrible decision. You may see *slightly* faster queues as cash-starved tanks play around with the new incentives, but most tanks are going to chase after Mythology/Soldiery tokens first and foremost.
people still don't seem to understand the roulette system.
The first time you do a roulette each day (as ANY class/job), you get the following bonuses
+EXP
+Tomes
+Seals
+Gil
This bonus is only awarded once per day
If a certain role is in-demand for a particular roulette (mainly healers or tanks, but sometimes damage dealers), you get the following "in-demand" bonus for queuing as those classes/jobs.
+Gil
+Seals
This bonus is always available, so you can take advantage of it as much as you want , as long as the class/job you're queuing as is eligible for it.
It's just a buff to the CURRENT system, so it would affect any role in demand for that particular thing. It just mainly affects tanks and healers because they tend to be the in-demand roles on the roulette.
Prepare for an influx of terrible tanks....
