Which ffxi job would you play in xiv?

Hard to say really. The game mechanics are so different. Typically I would say Ninja for silence, invis, stealthy abilities, etc. However, being that those mechanics are not even in ARR, I suppose I may have to choose something else. I would say Rdm with the current game mechanics.

Dancer... hands-down, i would play dancer!
ever since fft if there is a dancer class in a game, i will play it.

I wouldn't mind seeing Dancer get thrown in there, either.

Beastmaster, THF, NIN, SAM... yea those above all for me

I would want DNC, almost exactly like it was in ffxi. A dual-wielding dagger job would be awesome in this game. I would like it even more if auto-attack damage was ~50% of its dps, with higher levels implementing double and triple attack, with poison DoTs.
