Dark Souls 2 likely going to be the best game ever, adding the best things from Demon's Souls, and Dark Souls, then adding things the fans didn't even knew they wanted until now but love into Dark Souls 2 <3

An overwhelmingly deep and complex combat system, endless lore and story to be discovered, an emotional and dark atmosphere more similar to survival horror than an RPG, classic Metroid-vania type exploration and secrets, large sprawling open world, no grinding, difficult but fair, punishing but utterly rewarding.

Everything from the hauntingly beautiful soundtrack and lore, to the gorgeous animations, sprawling open world, inspired bosses, one of the best combat systems ever created, integrated and revolutionary multiplayer aspects, endless customization and depth, gorgeous atmosphere and visuals... Dark Souls 2 is everything I'd ever expect from an RPG game

I think there is a real problem with people having expectations that are too high. Even if SE added new content, the people complaining now would finish it quickly and be right back here complaining again. There's only so much any game company can do and they will never please everyone, so you either deal with it, or move on to another game that meets or comes closer to meeting your expectations.

Maybe it's more peoples expectations are too low? There are F2P games out there with just as much end game content :(

I mean coil- once a week lockout.
Primals - watch people fail dodging over and over.

That's about it.

I find doing coil fun. Since I can only do it once a week, that kinda hinders the amount of fun I have in the game. Why should I have to change what I do in a game that PAY for in order to get entertainment?

inb4 "unsub then lulz"- I already canceled auto renewal on my account. All they gotta do is remove all this red tape on things that are fun to me, then I'll stick around.

In which case, what about FFXIV keeps you playing it rather than going to a F2P or single player game? I'm not trying to troll or white knight, btw. Just honestly curious.

Still things I want to do in game.
I'm a FF fan. Hence why I'm still playing and giving the game more chance than I would others.

Hoping new patches add more variety of fun things to do.

I see a lot of potential in the game to be great but slowly and slowly and I'm starting to lose confidence in SE to deliver. I check their youtube daily hoping to find some new surprise or just something to keep me intrigued but they constantly disapoint....another extreme primal? You can keep it.
