Level 40 Bracket Twinking.

Think the gc weapon paired with any gc item for set bonus is worth it? Also defense counts for nothing in 30s/40s?

yep, you can use the gc weapon plus a hand/head/boot gc gear (the melding gear for body is better).
no, defense dont count in PvP at all. the only diff in 50s is molare. in 30/40 nothing.

Sorry for the bump. But if def is useless in PVP, and this is for the level 30-40 bracket, what is the reason behind using tank gear? Wouldn't melle DPS gear produce better damage results than tank gear? Or is the extra vit/parry more beneficial? Seems like this DPS gear would be considerably better. Or is there something I'm missing out on here?

4/5 pieces from bluefrog leves chests in about 2 hours a week ago. I forget the exact quest, but its one of the ones poppable closest to Bluefrog. Just stood on the highest rock in the middle of area, checked for chest (usually onely 1 I think...hope?) w/o having to move and dropped quest if none there. Lose a bit of gil that way but really helped to speed up the process. Thx for the abobve post lol..was hpoing there weren't any accessories to get too from chests.

Oh so this is why only 40 queues are popping...

so this seems the route i will be taking to start pvp. how long would i stay within this bracket, till i can get a full set of ilvl 70 pvp gear or continue slowly raking up poiints till i achieve max rank xD?

Around Rank 20 to 22 depends whether u have the FC wolf mark buff or not.
