fucking threads like this piss me off, thanks for wasting everyone time with nonsense.

here is some more subjects for threads you could do.

Oh god, this, this is definitely one of things I miss about 1.0

Please please please, give us the option for the list style inventory/retainer inventory again for those of us that like it, and keep the icons for those that prefer that.

A new retainer don't give you only 175 more space, but also 20 AH slots and 9999 more slots for shards/crystals/clusters
I would use my 3rd retainer as my food cabinet, i think. He get everything that would be useful for my culinarian

This was planned at the start of 1.0. First retainer for free, every extra retainer 1$ each month. People didn't like this idea. So buyable retainers never came. Retainer storage space were 80 slots at this time and only 10 slots for sell.

If you buy from the city state the retainer is stationed, you pay no tax, if you buy it from a different city state there's like an additional tax above cost of item price. I think you're confused with the selling tax, but the post ypu quoted was about people could buy from him without a tax.

Yeah I think you are correct about this. It makes sense for this to be a development design decision that allows you to retrieve less data at a time from the server. hats off to you.

But it makes me think...If GW2 did it, then I can only assume it is doable and/or not that costly (development wise). So I can only deduce from that, that the reason we dont implement it in ARR is because of PS3 limitations. Which, let me tell you, really sucks because im a PS3 player all the way.

i stand corrected. THIS is the worst possible solution. How can you suggest adding a cash shop to a game with a monthly subscription!? Honestly, im pretty sure i would be able to afford it, but i would quit the game just on principle alone. The game would be a Pay to play, pay to win game. UGH!

Way to miss the entire point of the thread. When I see a player like you who has capped all classes, and yet makes posts like the one you just did, it reminds me that MMORPGs dont require skill or intelligence to play. only endurance...

I cannot believe that players are complaining about getting another retainer...organize your stuff better if you are one of those who cannot find stuff.
I have all my gear on first retainer and all Materia and crafting items on 2nd retainer. Cannot wait for the third retainer...I am getting short on space and I have only leveled LWK and MINER...I could not imagine the lack of space if I was leveling mutliple other crafting classes and had to store all that stuff...LOL.
They did say that since the retainer did not make it in to 2.1 it should for sure make it in to 2.2.

Yes not sure why some of you are so annoyed or what not by this. I for one would gladly have 1 more retainer. Now can have 1 in each of the major cities, Uldah, Limsa and Gridania.

When Yoshi answered that question in the live letter I was happy that a third retainer was on its way. Though then someone pointed out that calling it a "service" probably means that you'll have to pay extra for the third retainer.

Though maybe you have to pay for it with gil instead of real life money.

You mean like not having the decency to link to a source in the OP?

I don't even see a reason to have more retainers. They only need to make the armoire actually do its job consistently and not a month or 2 later.
