I've had great groups in DF and I've had some hideous ones as well. Just this evening I was berated quite harshly in AK for being in the wrong spot. Sorry guys but my first time there and a bit fuzzy on what to do. Don't get me a started on CM or the other 8 person story intensive dungeon. Trying to enjoy the story coupled with speed runners doesn't make a happy experience. Bad game design IMO.

The silly thing is that players wanting to do speed runs in a place like WP when others may not be geared or familiar is just silly. It usually takes longer, causes wipes and hard feelings. The best groups I've been in have done this at a steady pace, clear it in 30 minutes and we are done. If you want speed runs, form your own groups. This way, you can get it done in 10 minutes and not have to worry about the slowpokes are lesser geared players.

If you want organization and team work you need to use party finder and form your own groups, otherwise by using the instant gratification of DF you will end up having this issue

you r right its silly, so i advocate to you that what your saying to this forum is a politcally charged statement because the player your defending will, i assure your— plans to perpetual the Speed run when he/she becomes overgears.
