Can I have my full micro menu back please

My first reaction when I logged in was "where are all my buttons?!"

It seriously feels broken, given how often I hit some of them. The new menu that pops up almost makes sense, but it's ugly and unintuitive. It doesn't feel right clicking a little red harp button to open a list, and then selecting "teleport" off that list, just to finally select my destination off of another list.

This is awful design.

The mirco menu was cool. Everything I want I can access easily. This is a step back.

Unless you guys are doing it to help PS offset some limitations...

For the love of god people, this isn't a PS3 limitation because the PS3 can't even use the damn micro menu.

I agree with everything mentioned here - when I saw the new 'streamlined' buttons-into-menu system, I groaned. It reminds me a little of the horrid slide-out menu 1.0 used and was such a drag to use. However, I mused the reasons for the change was SE probably thought it would be better to have the menu this way to make adding new menu functions and selections easier. And sure enough, Camate's post confirmed that. So although I don't like the change, I understand SE's reasons for doing so. Ah well, like all things, I'll get used to it eventually.

Actually, 1280x720 is the official minimum screen resolution supported by ARR, so naturally their GUI design has to reflect this limitation. Not everyone has a high end machine running multiple HD widescreen monitors you know.

pretty sure it was a joke lol.

either way, i guess its the ffxi'er in me, but i cant remember a time ive ever clicked one of those buttons, other than before i thought to set teleport and return to a keybind. if this is an argument over convenience, dont use the mouse to click the button and just use the keybind. (i dont use a controller so im not sure if controllers can use the cursor)

It is a joke that only FFXI players would understand I guess lol

I love the new micro menu. I always felt the original was a little too cluttered. Now each button has a category where you can perform specific functions relating to that category.

/signed I miss the old one-click menu!

even the menu got nerfed in this patch.
