Agreed. I've been on the SNAP program in the past. In Texas you have to spend thirty hours a week searching for jobs in the welfare building's computer lab. You can't do it on your own personal computer at home or at the library. When I was on the program I had to drive a hour one way to the nearest welfare building.

They have to physically watch what you are doing for that length of thirty hours weekly. You also have the option of getting signed papers from every place you apply at with a minimum of 15 places a week. It's seriously hard to stay on the program and the people who are on it (at least in my state) work their ass off to find jobs.

Since last week, I've been on a four week, fully paid, holiday.

This affects me no more than anything. I'll get paid to play FFXIV :D

I hate Obama?
I never mentioned him at all, if anything I should thank him and ALL the presidents before him up to F.D.R. for getting the welfare system to point where I, as a 29 year old 100% disabled combat veteran, can live comfortably above the poverty line and not have to worry about coming up with the cash to pay for my medication I need to live.

Don't hate because I am intelligent and diligent enough to research and apply for the government programs available to me due to my service related injuries. . .

My previous post was a sincere thank you, not a political message. (though you tried to twist in to such)

I wish, but I have a final to take. A final that bears little significance, but a final none the less. In that regard, there will be no studying done. Only FFXIV.

3 week break! I'm good & ready.

I honestly dont see the point simply because with a patch this big, and this much added content, they'll be taking the servers down left, right and center for the next 24 hours to hotfix all the things people find to exploit or that are broken.

I'd take Thurs-Friday off if I could though, by then, things should be more stable.

there is nothing "funny" about living in constant pain due to combat related injuries that prohibit one for working at all.

All I said was thank you to the working stiffs, with out your tax revenue paying for my upkeep and medical, I would probably be dead.


But it seems you can't even take that without belittling disabled veterans. . .

its not that serious to call in sick for work...maybe at the expansion yea but not for something like this.

im sure the 10 working members of this forum might, I'll be going to work, the servers will likely be crapping themselves and I enjoy seeing my patients.
