This, a hundred times, this. You have no idea what pvp is going to be like so you assume the worst. Surecast is a 30 second cooldown, a 10 second duration and has a 15% chance of resetting the cd. Add in your crowd control abilities and I don't see casting being an issue for even a decent blm.

We don't know what it's going to be like in this game, but I used to play a game called City of Heroes. In that game's PvP, when a tank attacked you or used a taunt-like ability, you literally could not target anyone but the tank for a certain amount of time. Since we haven't gotten a chance to play it yet, that may be how it works here. Or not, we'll see.

I actually find myself looking forward to PvP in this game, which is unusual because I mostly avoid it in other MMOs.

It helps that I am about to finish 9th relic and can be whichever class is FOTM.

Considering Yoshi's PvP background and past history, I hope it to be somewhat fun myself ;) While sure it may or may not start out great, I expect it will eventually get to where he wants it. heheh

i can see it now Drg just spam spear toss and Mnk use Shoulder tackle and just run circles around mages to defeat the cone sight.

and one question what wins, if you could use Surecast, granted you dont lose it cause of new set of only pvp skill, does it ignore stun or silence if both are attached on you while casting?

same guy who thought that colors make thats stats back in 1.0 was a great idea. And it is SE also and Ballista wasnt that great either, it died like after a week.

Yeah, a Monk is going to run circles around a caster with this game's crazy latency. Good luck spamming a DRG's spear throw when it costs 120 TP.

I'm sorry. You appear to be misinformed. Latency is being reduced from 300ms to 100ms inside pvp and endgame.

Maybe on your server but mine constantly had matches running in XI lol Playing it off and on for a while until I quit when my server merged with another.
