I don't really play FFXIV for PvP (or FFXI back then). There are better options for it. Will FFXIV have good PvP? Probably not--but it's too soon to say so definitively. If you want PvP, go play GW 2 or something. I just don't think pvp content has ever been a Square thing. I remember playing Ehrgeiz back in the day--that was a mess.

I think a lot of the comments about PvP are good predictions and, if true, probably wouldn't appeal to those people looking for PvP to save the FFXIV experience for them. But I just don't understand these threads... oh well. It passes the time on slow days at work :P

Even if 1/3 of the player base leaves, the game will still be in its Success numbers of above 400,000 so your Doomsaying and whining doesn't matter. Only about 5% of the player base is actually on end-game (and that's including the Legacy players into that 5%).

And how exactly do you plan to clear all extreme primals so fast? I guess that you finished coil T5 already so HM dungeons and CT wont be problem for you (for me neither).

well since EM are confirmed story plot, it wont be that hard less all the casual complain. So it wont be nearly as hard as 1.0 ifrit, it will maybe be as hard as 1.0 Ifrit HM.
