Allowing MP users to sprint at will will trivialize TP using melee classes.

Ya really could just become a skill, but the reason sprint is TP is because mages have cast times, which put them in attack areas and this gives the option to stop and bail or finish and maybe escape, but with the server latency issue it is almost pointless to do it at all.
Just do not allow mages to use tp in PvP only, or half the tp pool so it is not as long and still has the cooldown which also could be increased. Really hard to judge PvP if a huge population has yet to actually test it.
Well as a BRD I'd prefer MP drain over TP, still not the greatest of choices.
Outside Limit Breaks, no Melee has to root themselves to be 100% effective; Part of their design is to be mobile to be most effective.
That's why Casters get a free sprint. Given the way Location is pinged, Casters need that extra bit of move speed on demand because, in most cases, if you're casting when the Boss begins casting their ability, you're likely going to get hit. You either use Sprint to get out in time, or you move ahead of time, in both scenarios you lose DPS time.
Once Melee gets their damage adjusted accordingly and Ranged get a slightly higher priority on Boss abilities, the need for Caster Sprint only becomes more apparent while the need for a free PDPS sprint will only be because of PvP.
This thread should be rewritten as "Remove resource drain on sprint." Casters do not use TP at all, but we use MP.
