Warnings of bannable offenses (Can I have it?)

Hey, so long as you know all that hustlin and weaseling isn't really doing you much good compared to straight and narrow players who don't choose to continuously milk the line between exploit and cheating, you feel free to look like you're RMT's cousins all you want.

Just don't be surprised if no one respects you.

If you have something to actually contribute to the thread, I'd love to hear it. These personal attacks are rather bland and boring however, and completely off topic.

Do you have any suggestions as to how to alleviate this "problem?"

Why would someone think that abandoning a levequest is an exploit? You are sacrificing the reward for more SP in the future. It's not like you're not losing out on something.

Really the only border between cheating and the loopholes they consistently try to dig up are the devs' final word. And that's arbitrary at best.

We do it not only to save time, but to do the same leves together, and to increase our sp gain. We actually have to sacrifice our rewards in order to keep doing the same leves together for the best results for us.

It's more noble for everyone to complete their leves, get mediocre SP, and waste everyone's time doing leves with practically no links, less sp than grinding, and running the monotonous course of bland mobs in each leve?

If it's weaseling and hustling to work together with my static group that equally sacrifice rewards other than sp in order for us to be efficient and to somewhat enjoy leves at all, then so be it. Burn us at the stake for making the game mildly enjoyable since we can all work together at something. -. -

Reward, gil, not a big deal, but yes. Its a reward.

Faction points. These can be a big deal. Some nice drops from faction leves, and loosing out on, say, three leves worth of faction points ever cycle adds up really fast. Especially once you reach the point where having the gear would actually be useful to you while ranking. Which do you pick? SP now? Or faction points for more shots at the gear?

Marks. Less finished leves, means less renewed leves. Means less chance at leves offering marks. Again, something useful while leveling. Do you try to get that ability to use while leveling up, or do you get the SP to level up? Choices choices.

Point is, Rjain is right. You are giving something up by failing leves. SE had said it is not a violation of the AUP/TOS, just like they said zerging L90+ goblins with R10 THMs is not a violation. It just comes down to a choice: It is a matter of play style. Some people are completionists, they want every gear, every leve finished on ever level of stars and every NM and every achievement. Some people are levelers, they just want everything at the top as fast as they can. Some people map out what skills on what jobs to get in what order to maximize efficiency. Its all about trade-offs, and none of the playstyles are any worse or better than the others beyond what they mean to you personally and how you prefer to play your character.

There is no list. You'll get banned if they don't like you. So you are really asking for a list of things they don't like. If you think you're doing things they may not like, and you ask them to think real hard about it, is that going to help you get banned faster or is that going to help your case?

Everyone is mad! :D

You pick the poster child to hawk but don't pick your other boys. The ones who use FFEVO to run alt accounts and feed off their slaves' gathering leves, getting the SP of four gatherers. The ones who box content, getting the rewards of content meant to be split among multiple people. The ones who spend the first week of every patch meticulously looking for unintended ways to get ahead.

You may have been the first to hatch the plan to fail your leves, or you may just be a reactionary fad follower. Don't be the kind of player looking for easy street at every angle. It's not respectable.

I don't drop leves because I think it's a cheap mechanic that the game needs to address. I don't care if you drop. I do care if you're just one of those people who incessantly looks for angles like leve dropping to advance.

You all know who you are. Enjoyable to you is what you can get away with. If the game's not enjoyable to you without weaseling your way in it, do everyone a favor and don't play.
