gear deletion should be the penalty.
gear deletion should be the penalty.
Public shaming will get you banned on the forums, but I'm not sure how shouting ingame would affect your account. A few victims of this method of trolling are shouting the names of the people responsible on my server. I would be sincerely annoyed if I found out they were banned for shaming people who deserved it.
You know what i find fun? During beta SE was so proud of their ingame jail, warning the userbase about penalties like end up logging on that jail, and gear deletion
The topic of this thread may be a nice example. Now i wonder, what happened to that ingame jail? So far, no crime is punished on this game, at all , the only thing SE do (and bad too) is ban bots

I think it would be enough to show the same window that appears for DF instances, in the end coil is an instance too.
I know at least 1 person on my server who got a 24 hour stay in Mordion Gaol for griefing in Mor Dhona. They definitely use it.
Good news everyone! We cured "ADS!"
.....
I think they should compile a list of people who got punished/jailed for griefing, and a short description of what that person did; e.g.Griefers need to know that punishments are actually dealt. Making the threat of punishment feel real not only makes the player population safer in general, it also reduces GM workload.
- Intentionally saving other people to later turns in BC than claimed.
- Harassing specific players using tell.
- Emote spam for an extended period of time in populated places.
- MPK other players in Duty Finder.
They should just give a confirmation box, but only if you are about to enter a turn you have not reached yet (have not beaten the previous turn that week).
This trolling is also reportable, it's disrupting gameplay.
Why are people trying to pug coil? Get a group of friends from your fc or ls and run it.
But I support the confirmation message.
