my only thought is...MVP for a 4-man raid......number of votes is so small that it;s so likely to get 1,1,1,1. Then what happens?

So item check on enter..but what stops you from changing gear inside? Like the lvl 49 tank who wanted to spirit bbind stuff and changed all his gear to 44 and below?
I think it's great. I'm going to rig votes, say i'll vote for people then won't, vote down people with bad gear, because they're bad, laugh at people as their 'feelings' get hurt and fart in their face before walking out of the dungeon.
I didn't find any specific descriptions in this thread about how the MVP system can be used to 'troll' or abused.
Random people entering via the DF cannot conspire to anti-MVP someone. Rarely you will end up with, by coincidence, a group of all 'bads'. But generally how often will this be the case? And even if it does happen, MVP or no-MVP system you're screwed anyway! xD
I do foresee one potential way the votes could be 'rigged' and that's through using the party in progress queue... Have a 4-man pre-made team enter, have one leave, then have them use the in-progress queue to get back in. Clear the dungeon and everyone votes for the one that joined after.
It'd be a pain the backside to do and probably wouldn't work reliably in the busier dungeons but just thought I'd point out that it would be possible (unless they disable it for the in-progress queue).
tanks vote for healers
healers vote for tanks
dps 1 for dps 2
and dps 2 for dps 1
put this on first page
I personally hate the idea of vote to kick.
If you don't like the party you should leave.
There will be gear check in 2.1.
If the MVP rewards people enough then will we will all benefit.
What they need is a player history . How many times you have successfully run certain dungeons . Deaths , kills , number of times died in AOE .. Basically one of those things you see in games like GTA which shows things like
time spent on mount ,
how many times you have quit DF
amount of crits
average DPS per run
damage taken
etc etc I know this is a lot of data but a player could tell right away if you are bad or good , quitter or stayer . etc
