That'd probably be cool. I like the settings of XIII and VII and X and what not. Something a little more Final Fantasy-ish would be nice.

Yeah that would be cool. Though to be honest. I'm kinda craving a decent mature rated MMO in a pre-medival era where people wore the skins of what they killed, not platemail.
Age of Conan was supposed to do that but their strict class system urks me. Especially because the one Class choice I'd want to play is so unbalanced its un playable. (Guardian / Tempest.)
Seems sort of silly so say they are going to make another MMO with this one failing so badly...
Oh well, as long as the XI servers stay up i'll be happy.
I dont understand why people talk about SE being stretched, you dont get too many people complain about EA being too stretched. SE after all is getting to the same size as EA.
I would assume though that this is probably going to be by one of the eidos teams.
its like saying a car company like BMW can only have one model at a time, seems odd to me
SE is publishing Wakfu (sort of Dofus 2) for North America. ("Dofus" rhymes with Tofu, btw. :D) Wakfu is a free-to-play MMO and they're currently in closed beta. (GamerEscape (link) is still giving away beta keys in a sort of random chance type contest.)
Anyway, the SE announcement made me think of 2 things: Maybe a JP-region Wakfu; and a post someone made about FF14, mostly joking, that SE would never get a decent re-review for FF14, so they should fix problems, add actual content, and release it, renamed, as a new MMO. (Yes, this is, um, Airzaya Online!)
