That's true but they don't have to disappear right when they die and collision would be awesome. I didn't think about standing on top of your victory. :)

Our first Balrog or Thorog kill, i still have those shots. Epic.
Later chests have been placed in boss rooms and as long as the boo itself hadn't had an item he disappeared. A pitty.

Would be even easier for dungeon final bosses since a CS plays when you kill it, could just have it's corpse materialise in the exact same place every time during the CS to ensure it doesn't interfere with treasure chests.
Agreed, it could load up when the chests load up as part of the map. Wouldn't be hard at all.

Even if they did have to be re-absorbed, there is no rule saying it is instant, what's so unbelievable about them laying dead for a few minutes before they start to fade away.
