I tanked all the goblins at once pre-nerf with my MRD. It was possible. The NMs weren't that hard to begin with, anyway.

I think you missed his sarcasm :P

I (successfully) tanked all the gobs at once on our first ever attempt (way before the nerf) but a lot of our DPS were too fragile for the multi-bomb tosses so we switched to a different strategy after that. Post-nerf now it's just a huge joke and anyone having trouble with 1 non-emulate tank is doing something seriously wrong.

Sarcasm? Raikki you know I'm always serious when talkin' NMs.

In all honesty, we used to trio gob before the nerf without emulate(not a gloat, just a laugh at how simple it was). I remember looking at the posts before the NMs came out and looking at the pic of the glad in front of the buffalo and thinking "Finally! Tough content!". Oh, how naive I was.

We use two tanks because it's easy. One for the NM and one for the adds. My strategies work so stfu. In the end that's what matters, not what others think of my strategies.

No it doesn't. However, the strategy does affect how quickly you beat him and thus how many times per day you can fight him which can leadto more drops in the end.

If you concentrate all your firepower on the main NM to begin with and just kill the minions with AOE, you'll get your kill time down, and have more chances for multiple respawns in the same spawn window.

Molly, you just said yourself that you want "faster kills" so you can get more kills in (which is what everyone goes for), but the strategies you post are much slower than what the rest of us do. If you're THM tanking you don't need ANY extra healers. Those people/slots could be DPS and getting you a faster kill. If you're non-emulate tanking you don't need TWO tanks post-nerf. It's not even close to needing two. Not only is the extra tank superfluous but if you're separating the gobs and not burning them all down simultaneously that's also unnecessarily slower. A non-emulate tank also only needs 1 healer. Again, you could be doing faster damage here.
