FF14 not exiting properly since update

Cant exit game properly since update

Same problem as well. Black screen on exiting and have to use task manager to close it.

I can confirm that this does also affect me.
Windows 8
Logging out and selecting Exit just goes to black screen.

The patch of last night (yesterday) didn't fix whatever happened from the last patch.
So yeah, still happens.
I have to End Task to get rid of running FFXIV

Yeah thought last patch would fix it, still have to use task to exit.

This is happening to me on Ps3 but when I try to kill the task by quitting the game the Ps3 beeps 3 times and restarts, EVERY time I hit exit game from the main menu..

Have tried several updates, scans, and such - no change whatsoever.

They broke something. Same for me. Task Manager is the only way to get it to close out of black screen. Computer is not frozen, just FF won't close properly.

I have the same issue on two PCs as well. First on Windows 8 and now also on Windows 8.1.
